Bishop's Message November 30, 2025
Hello All!
Thanksgiving has passed, and Christmas is approaching. I’ve been reflecting on our experience in November, expressing gratitude for the Savior and the temple. I eagerly anticipate Light the World in December. Serving others is a wonderful way to step outside ourselves and focus on something greater. However, these colder and darker months pose challenges for me. I find myself less motivated and less positive. Fortunately, I have a supportive family around me who help me find these positive moments. I eagerly anticipate engaging in daily activities that can brighten the world around me during this bleak midwinter.
I believe that doing good brings us peace. As we sanctify ourselves through service and covenant keeping, we glorify God. As Luke 2:14 proclaims, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” I believe that our opportunities to serve are a means of battling the negative aspects of life. When we serve one another, we cultivate greater gratitude. Expressing this gratitude allows us to appreciate the many blessings we enjoy, regardless of our challenges. I pray that we will continue to show goodwill to each other during this winter season. As Christmas approaches, I pray that we will strive to bring light to others, thereby illuminating our own lives.
Bless you, All!
